status update
the sound of breakers larboard in the night makes the sailor of a certain disposition nervous. however a break in the clouds and a fixed lunar puts the skipper at ease. a mainsail breeze right aft calms the more skeptical; sails are squared; the log is heaved showing a fair 5 knots; and into the offing we go.
